Safety is always a concern when kids and the Internet are mixed. Argus Cameras understands this and has taken many precautions to help make the BeanSeen a safe place for kids of all ages. We will of course be continually adding new safety features as the BeanSeen grows. Below is a list of safety precautions we have taken for your child’s online experience.

  1. Foul Language Filtering – We have an extensive database of unacceptable characters, phrases and words that filter all content in the BeanSeen. This includes all chat sessions, communications between kids, and even the creation of their account name.

  2. Logging – We have developed a network of programs that monitor and log all communications in the BeanSeen community. This includes but is not limited to all chat dialogues, all system messages between users, all photographs displayed, time stamps, friending, favoriting, locations of users, blocking of users, use of the emotographs, and time/date stamps on all communications. This information helps us to understand the communications in our network and help us know if someone is abusing the network.

  3. Moderation – All photographs uploaded to the network will display in the users account but are not available for sharing or display to the community until our staff view and approve the photographs. Moderators are also online in the community helping users and chatting with members at various times of the day. Our moderators and staff will never ask for a child’s personal information and we will never ask for account information.

  4. Guidelines for acceptable use – We have a set of guideline that explains in detail what acceptable use of the BeanSeen. We will continually update these guidelines as needed to ensure our community on the BeanSeen is fun and safe. The extensive Guidelines can be found by clicking here.

BeanSeen can at anytime suspend or ban a user from use of the BeanSeen if we believe a user on the system is detracting from experience of other users in the BeanSeen community.

  5. Parental moderation – BeanSeen encourages parents to use the BeanSeen as fun family experience. Our signup process encourages parents to enter their e-mail when the child creates an account. This allows parents to go in at anytime and see the child’s account, to be aware of what the child is posting, and also allows BeanSeen to send e-mails to parents of new things happening in the ever growing BeanSeen.
